Election Update- 20/07/2026
Dear Members,
As the Chief Election Commissioner for Executive Committee Election 2026, I am pleased to advise that the election process has now been completed.
Following the close of nominations, all nominations received were carefully reviewed and found to be valid. In accordance with the election timetable, members were provided with an opportunity to lodge any complaints or disputes relating to the nominations. Similarly, all nominated candidates were given additional time to reconsider their nomination and withdraw if they wished to do so.
I am pleased to confirm that no complaints, disputes or requests for withdrawal were received during the prescribed period. As the number of eligible candidates did not exceed the number of vacant positions, a ballot was not required. Accordingly, the following candidates have been duly elected unopposed in accordance with the Constitution and Election Rules.

NAV Election Commission 2026 would like to notify all members that the list of candidates after claims and disputes has been published.
The commission would like to offer the candidates an opportunity to withdraw their candidacy from 7 AM, 16 July 2026 to 11:59 PM, 16 July 2026 by writing to the Commission’s email- election2026@nav.org.au.

The Commission would like to notify all the members that submission on claims and disputes on candidacy is open from 7:00 am, July 14, 2026 to 23:59 pm, July 14, 2026. The Commission will respond to your submission as soon as practical. The submission should be emailed to election2026@nav.org.au.
2026 Election Update – 11 July 2026
The Commission would like to call all the interested life members and general members to submit their application for candidacy using the form: Candidacy-Sumbission-NAV-Election-2026
Please download and print the Candidacy Submission Form, complete all required details, obtain the signatures of one nominator and one supporter (Both must be the NAV Member), pay the applicable election fee (Nepalese association of Victoria, BSB – 013445, Account no : 353917105), then scan and email the completed application, together with proof of payment, to election2026@nav.org.au by 11:59 PM (AEST) on Sunday, 12 July 2026.
