Hamro Community and NAV Successfully Complete Multicultural Volleyball Tournament 2026
MELBOURNE, Victoria | 23 September 2026
The Hamro Community, in collaboration with the Nepalese Association of Victoria (NAV), successfully completed the Hamro Community Multicultural Volleyball Tournament 2026, bringing together teams, players, supporters and community members for a celebration of sport, teamwork and community connection.
Spiker were crowned champions, while MVA finished as runners-up following a competitive tournament that showcased strong performances, teamwork and sportsmanship from the participating teams.
Held under the theme “Unity. Sportsmanship. Community.”, the tournament reflected the shared commitment of the organisers to promoting sporting participation, community engagement and multicultural connection.
As part of the preparations for the tournament, team captains and managers attended a match draw session on 23 September 2026 at 49 Mainview Boulevard, Truganina, where teams were informed of their opponents and prepared for the competition.
The Hamro Community Executive Committee 2026–2028 expressed its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to making the tournament a success, including the participating teams and players for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship, sponsors for their generous support, and volunteers, referees, organisers and executive committee members for their dedicated efforts.
The organisers also thanked the spectators and community members who attended the event and encouraged the teams throughout the tournament.
The tournament was proudly supported by Aussie Finance and Home Loans, ICS, Narayan Purohit Sewa, Mustang Palace, Roaming Nepal Travel Australia, and Java Energy.
The organisers said the participation and support received throughout the tournament reflected the true spirit of community and expressed their appreciation to everyone involved.
